Preparation
- In a warm bowl, dissolve the yeast in the milk.
- Mix in the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt.
- Gradually add the flour and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
Filling and Baking
- Roll the dough out and spread it with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll it up tightly and cut it into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise again.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
Icing
- Mix the powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle it on top before serving.
Note
Cinnamon Buns are best served warm. For storage, let them cool completely and place in an airtight container. They can be kept at room temperature for a couple of days or refrigerated for about a week. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped in plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
